Well, here we are, on our last week of our 1st semester at Milab. Today we have presented our product and what we have found in our research so far. We finally managed to get into the labs themself and build our first paper prototype. Although it is just our first try, we really enjoyed the process and what the prototypes turned out to be.
Meet out first prototype - "David" (the name is inspired by one of the women we interviewed who called her name David). Here you can see the name tag that will help the user with personifying the plant by giving it a name and you can see a small example for the lights that will be used as feedback to the user, signaling to him how the plant feels. This reaction will happen almost only if the user touches the plant.
Then, it was time to prepare our presentation and as you can see, it's been really fun. We can't really believe how much work we have managed to do during this semester. We are really proud of what we've achieved and we are excited for our 2nd semester to begin!
